I am like most (if not all) community members. I get a high, a sense of great joy whenever I serve. I cannot actually imagine myself not serving in any way, not helping even in little ways. And that sense of joy and high reached new heights this year when I started to serve with my family.

This year is really different as I am already a father now. I started serving when I was in youth, then in singles and now as a married person. I have realized that it is a lot tougher now to serve. It was much easier when I was still single. I could definitely focus my 100% on what I am doing and that alone. But now, as I serve in different community events and happenings, I have my wife Gay and my son Pablo with me. We do not have a yaya and since we are both fulltime workers, we are very busy during community events especially during conferences.

“Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, "Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

    Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it."
