It was a weekend not only of fun and excitement but so much more of spiritual nourishment and deepening as they had workshops and sessions which taught them to Trust in Jesus more which is our theme for this year coming from Isaiah 12:2
In the end, everyone was exhorted and believed that truly greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done so as one community, the youth and singles responded “SO BE IT!” to the Lord’s call.
You can run, shout, play as long as you do not sin. These words echo Don Bosco’s approach to his youth ministry and this is what exactly what our more than 350 youths and singles experienced on July 24-26, 2009 when they had their CFC YFL/SFL European Congress in Castelnuovo Don Bosco Asti, Italy – the birthplace of St. John Bosco who is the patron of the youth.
